good, seeing the main greatness of this game was that it took place in the age of castles and melee combat, making a future aoe is just crap, I got bored f aoe III really fast, not very exciting with guns and bombs. Swords and bows ftw! :)

AoM was really fun. AoE III was really boring and was the last “computer board game” i played.

yeah… they were gonna make #4 be of the world wars and modern events, and AoE 5 would be about a futuristic era, kinda like halo. But, they wont be made :(

Oh yeah, I remember finding them. By the end I had basically explored every area of freeland possible and had set up a number of bases around the place. It was just that at the end I had wasted all my gold on centurions sending up small attack groups. Acctually thinking about it I might have completed it by conquest.

    Such good memorys..

ditto… and on that map, you can actually beat it by conquest… or by finding the 48 allied centurions on the far north east

Yeah, I myself find aoe 3 to be awesome. BUT if you hate sequals, rest assured that they wont be making an aoe4, because stupid microsoft shut down ensemble studios. :<
